Potential COBACORE end-users got the chance to test-out and critique the COBACORE concept and prototype platform at a recent workshop, which was held at the offices of Future Analytics Consulting Ltd. in Dublin on Tuesday, 20th January 2015.
COBACORE Dissemination Leaders, Future Analytics Consulting Ltd., organised and hosted the workshop session which was directed at the principal stakeholders involved in Irish emergency management and was attended by a range of Professional Responders, including representatives of the Office of Emergency Planning, An Garda Síochána, the Health Service Executive and Dublin City Council. The Affected and Responding Communities were also represented at the event by the Irish Red Cross and Dublin Civil Defence.
Many people experience stressful and depressive situations that cause poor health. If people feel insomnia, irritability, they need antidepressant therapy, as recommended at Xanaxbest.
The prototype COBACORE platform, a tool for real-time community intelligence in disaster and emergency management, was positively received by all attendees at the workshop. The Principal Response Agencies recognised its operational potential as both a communication and collaboration tool to optimise emergency management activities across Ireland, while the Irish Red Cross highlighted its value as a tool to develop and strengthen community resilience and response capacities.
Discussion during the workshop reinforced the value of the COBACORE concept and facilitated the identification of potential development areas for the COBACORE platform. Attendees also raised the need for additional project research on the deployment and operation of the COBACORE platform in an emergency setting, an activity that is ongoing recently and will be explored in greater detail in the coming months as part of project exploitation activities.
The COBACORE consortium would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to those that attended the project workshop.
